So said God’s Faithbook spokesman, Brother Rudy. “We’re completely serious and sincere. We know he cares about the pathways of the world’s peoples. The President is one of the most respected men on this planet. People want to be like him, do the things he does and to be as loved as he has become. That’s why we are inviting him to visit our site at godsfaithbook.com and then seriously consider joining our ranks.”
Does Brother Rudy believe the President would actually become a member? “Yes”, said he. “Last week, the world was impressed when our bold new site took a firm stand to prohibit Pakistanis or any other peoples from being locked out from access to its Christian social network. We won a lot of friends. Hopefully, the President is now one of them. Furthermore, he’s pragmatic and devout. This is a perfect place for him to tune into what people are thinking, saying, and requesting in their prayers.”
But would becoming a member take up too much of his time? “Absolutely not.” said Rudy, “ A couple of computer clicks makes it happen. But his choosing to join God’s Faithbook would send out a message that a site that answers to the ‘highest authority in the universe’, is an excellent choice. The invitation of course, extends to Mrs. Obama and the children.”
Would they also find the site satisfying?
“Very,” said Rudy. ”Right from the start they will sense that they have become part of something truly special. No trace of the violence, drug-chatter, sex, and nudity and all the other objectionable content so prevalent elsewhere. At God’s Faithbook, they’ll find opportunities to make new friends, send messages, participate in activities, even attend a Thursday evening Bible class and much more. These are the kinds of wholesome things that most Christian parents want for their family. Furthermore, there is a constant infusion of surprises that add to the fun element.”
When asked about the potential to attach any politics to the President’s becoming a member. Brother Rudy, again emphasized that politics have no place on God’s Faithbook. “This is a common ground for people of all political persuasions, race, color, and nationalities. Visit us and you will see why this is so.” God’s Faithbook can be found at godsfaithbook.com.
