Sacred Crystal Figurines and Night Lights

A glowing Jesus beside a child's bed, a small crystal saint on an office desk, a Marian image in the corner where you pray: each asks something different of the object. This page sorts the options by what they are and where they sit. It should help you pick the right size and the right image for the room.

Crystal ball night lights

These are glass-style spheres with a sacred image inside, set on a light base. The images include a cross, prayer hands, a shepherd with sheep, Jesus with light, and Mary or Jesus with the Sacred Heart. They come in 6cm and 8cm sizes. The 6cm ball is a small shelf or bedside piece. The 8cm ball has more presence and suits a prayer corner. Some bases give a warm light and some a colorful one, so check which one you are picking. They suit a quiet adult space or an older child's room.

Engraved crystal block figurines

This is a different object. It is a polished rectangular crystal block with the image engraved inside, listed as laser engraving. It is a display piece for a desk or shelf. The designs in this list include Saint Christopher, Our Lady of Lourdes, a praying angel, and Jesus carrying the cross with Mary. There is also a First Holy Communion design for a girl. The 4x4x6cm size is small enough for a work desk. The 5x5x8cm size has a little more weight on a shelf. Saint Christopher, patron of travellers, suits a desk or a gift for someone who travels. The Communion piece is a keepsake.

Flat-style night lights with Jesus

These are the simplest of the night lights, and they are priced to buy several. The descriptions mention oval silhouettes, minimalist outlines, and a range of painted styles from oil to watercolor. The outline designs are clean and modern. They suit a teenager's room or a plain office wall socket better than a busy nursery. Each name carries a letter, which marks the design option, so pick the image before you order.

Mary and saints night lights

For a Marian or saints image, there are separate lines. The Virgin Mary lights are described in styles from watercolor florals to stained glass and tattoo-inspired art. Other lights show Jesus and Mary together, or a group of saints for evening prayer and reflection. These suit Catholic and Orthodox homes that already keep Marian devotion, and a child's room where a familiar face is a comfort at bedtime.

Statues and sculptures for a shelf

If you want something more traditional, there are statues in the list. One is an Our Lady of Guadalupe statue with a ornate halo and flowing robes. The Divine Radiance Cross is an alloy desktop ornament. There are also hand carved olive wood Holy Family figures, a gift from the Holy Land. The wall sculpture of Saint Michael is the largest piece here, at about 30cm tall, with a backlight. It needs wall or shelf room. The olive wood pieces are the most hands-on craft of the group.

How to choose

• Start with the room. A child's room needs a soft, simple light. An office needs something small. A prayer corner can take a larger piece.
• Check the size. The crystal balls are 6cm or 8cm. The blocks are 4x4x6cm or 5x5x8cm. The Saint Michael sculpture is 30cm by 24.5cm.
• Pick the image that means something to the person. A patron saint, a Marian image or a plain cross will matter more than the style.
• Choose the light base. The crystal balls offer warm or colorful light. Read the listing for the one you want.
• Look at the material. Resin, alloy, crystal and olive wood are all in this list and each feels different.

Questions people ask

Which is better for a child's room, a crystal ball or a night light?

The flat night lights are a simple choice. A crystal ball is a gift piece that sits on a shelf, so place it where it will not be knocked.

Are the designs the same as the pictures?

Each listing has a letter or name for the design. Check that you have picked the one you want before you order.

What suits a desk at work?

The 4x4x6cm engraved crystal blocks are the smallest pieces on this page. They are easy to keep on a desk.

Can I use these as a gift?

Yes. A saint's figurine for a name day or a Communion keepsake is a thoughtful choice. Pick the image with the person in mind.
